


Add the competencies in the workforce database
When importing the workforce database, you have the option to add a column containing the individual competencies of the employees with their current level.
All the competencies of one employee must be entered into one cell. Make sure you use the right format for this data:
CompetencyA_X;CompetencyB_Y… Where X and Y are the current level of the individual for the competencies A and B.
Example: English_2;French_3;Agile methods_1

Map the competencies
When mapping the optional employee info (step 4 when importing the workforce database) make sure you select the right column for the competencies.
Once you've selected the column, you'll have the possibility to choose whether you want to create competency needs based on individual competencies in the database. Example: Michael, in the Digital marketing job segment has the competency English; if you want English to be a required competency for all the employees in the Digital marketing job segment, you'll need to select the option.
You'll be asked to precise the competency scale from 0 to 5. Make sure it corresponds to the competency scale used in your organization.
This will automatically create the competency framework with the list of each competency that exist in the workforce database.
