Add the skills in the workforce database
When importing the workforce database, you have the option to add a column containing the individual skills of the employees with their current level.
All the skills of one employee must be entered into one cell. Make sure you use the right format for this data:
SkillA_X;SkillB_Y… Where X and Y are the current level of the individual for the skills A and B.
Example: English_2;French_3;Agile methods_1
Map the skills
When mapping the optional employee info (step 4 when importing the workforce database) make sure you select the right column for the skills.
Once you've selected the column, you'll have the possibility to choose whether you want to create skill needs based on individual skills in the database. Example: Michael, in the Digital marketing job segment has the skill English; if you want English to be a required skill for all the employees in the Digital marketing job segment, you'll need to select the option.
You'll be asked to precise the skill scale from 0 to 5. Make sure it corresponds to the skill scale used in your organization.
This will automatically create the skill framework with the list of each skill that exist in the workforce database.
