Evaluate employee skills by entity

Employee skills can be assessed for a specific population by filtering on selected organizational entities.

To do so:

  1. Navigate to Business Needs > Skill Needs

  2. Open the Skills by Entity tab

  3. Select the filters you want to apply:

    • Choose one or more segmentation dimensions

    • Select the relevant entities within those dimensions, at any level of granularity

  4. Click on the row corresponding to the entity you want to analyze

A detailed view will then display all skills required for the selected entity.

For each skill, the following information is available:

  • The skill cluster to which the skill belongs (if applicable)

  • The skill criterion used to define the skill (if applicable)

  • The size of the population concerned by the skill

  • A distribution chart showing current proficiency levels within the population

  • The average target proficiency level for each scenario (up to three scenarios)

From this view, skills can be assessed in two different ways.

Individual assessment

To assess employees individually:

  1. Locate the relevant skill

  2. Click the Edit button (pencil icon) displayed next to the population size

  3. Enter or update the proficiency level for each employee

Collective Assessment

To assign the same proficiency level to all employees within the selected population:

  1. Locate the relevant skill

  2. Click the dropdown menu displayed next to the proficiency distribution chart

  3. Select the desired proficiency level
