Workforce drivers

  • Workforce drivers are business challenges that the company will have to address over the next few years, which will impact its workforce needs.

  • A driver is composed of a set of rules that each have an impact on a specific perimeter over a specified time period. A rule is defined as :

    • The impacted scope

    • The period to which it applies

    • Its type:

      • It can be based on a business hypothesis (a quantitative projection of business trends, expressed in freely definable units, such as changes in revenue or the number of production lines)

      • It can be a directly imputed variation ( per year, Δ% per year, Δ% between two dates)

  • A scenario is a combination of drivers that reflects the organization’s strategic priorities for the coming years (growth, transformation, optimization, etc.)

Scenarios enable different futures to be simulated. Each scenario can include all or some of the available drivers to simulate the impact of their combination on the workforce

Here are the different steps to manage business drivers.
