Preparing the competence framework for import
The competency system can be imported to Albert in Excel format.
First, prepare the Excel file:
The first row should be filled with column headers
One column should contain the name of the competencies.
You have the option of adding columns to describe the competencies, clusters, and criteria. These columns are optional and will be used to refine the structure.
Importing a competency framework into Albert
To import a competency framework for the first time:
Go to Current Workforce > Competency framework
Click on Import a framework
If you need to update the competency framework with an import:
Go to Current Workforce > Competency framework
Click on the button [+] then Import framework
Map the competency framework information
After clicking on Import framework, you will just have to:
Import the .xls file
Match the information (link the desired column in the file to the desired information)
Click on Confirm.
The competency framework is now created or updated in the project.
